Is a type of massage designed for active people who are involved in athletic activities. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to pain, Discomfort, Injuries both short and long term.

Joint Manipulation and mobilisation

This technique is often use in manual treatment, as it gently moves, seprates, stretches joints,  and tissues around them.

It is an extension of joint mobilisation.


This technique is characterized by the "click" or "pop" sound. That sound is a result of something called "cavitation".

When a joint manipulation is applied, the therapist "separates" the articular surface of the joint, which reduces the pressure within the joint creating that tipical sound.This is simply due to gas escaping the joint.

A sensation of relief is often felt immediately after the technique.


It is used to unlock joint, help musculoskeletal pain and improve the range of motion.

Taping and Srapping

The technique was developed by Japanese doctor Kenzo Kase more than 30 years ago. The adhesive strapping is designed to provide muscle and joint support without restricting movement.

The tape is made out of a breathable skin friendly material.

When applied to the wanted area the tape gently lift the skin, therefore reducing local pressure, enhancing circulation and lymphatic flow. The end result, it a decrease of pain and swelling.

Cut into different shapes (X,I,Y), and applied with different amount of tension, it can be used to promote pain relief, reduce swelling and inflamation, support joints, help tired muscles, reduce Headaches, ease up Joint conditions.


Strapping is a a tehcnique mostly used to stabilise injuted or unstable joints.

It can be a useful technique to use to prevent injuries or further injuries on an already affected area.

The tape can not be consider as a treatment modality on its own and will achieve full potential if used in addition to manual therapy.
